Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Lume AI mobile application. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of License
Lume AI grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
2. AI Accuracy & Critical Disclaimers
Artificial Intelligence is powerful, but not infallible. By using Lume AI, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies. You agree to use the Service at your own risk.
Nutritional data, calorie counts, and health suggestions provided by Lume AI are estimates only. The Service is NOT a medical device and should not be used to diagnose, treat, or manage any health condition (e.g., diabetes, eating disorders). Always consult a qualified healthcare provider.
OCR and data extraction from receipts may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying all financial data before using it for tax reporting, accounting, or reimbursement purposes. Lume AI is not responsible for financial losses due to data inaccuracies.
Diagnostics for vehicles, appliances, or machinery are based on visual analysis and general knowledge. They may be incomplete or incorrect. Attempting repairs based solely on AI suggestions can be dangerous. Always consult a certified professional mechanic or technician. We are not liable for property damage or bodily injury.
Generative AI models may confidently produce false information ("hallucinations"). You must verify any critical facts, instructions, or data provided by the Service before taking action.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassment, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
- Engage in "prompt injection" attacks or attempt to manipulate the AI to generate prohibited content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by you), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Lume AI Lab. You retain ownership of any photos or data you upload, but you grant us a worldwide license to process that data to provide the Service to you.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Lume AI Lab, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
